Bringing joy and a sense of achievement through shared creativity
Jam Today
Why Take a Jamming Approach?
Jamming is playing together and responding to what each person brings to the session. It's a way of working creatively together that is: respectful, social, accessible, inclusive and fun
We take a jamming approach when delivering projects. Jamming is about creating things together and playfully making it up as you go along. We make sure that there's lots of ways for people to join in and be an active part of the jamming experience. We find this jamming approach to be engaging, stimulating and enjoyable to a wide range of people, including people living with dementia. It's an accessible and inclusive way to get people involved in participatory music activities.
